Born on November 23, 1968, in St. Catherine, Jamaica, Funksion started out as "Daddy Wayne", an entertainer on various sound systems. At the age of 19, he became a recording artist. In the year 2000, his name was changed to "Funksion." In 2020, he founded SkoolDemRadio, and is the CEO. Born Natalie Whyte in Lime Hall. Imejah was homeschooled until the age of 5 where she entered Primary school. Her academics earned her a government scholarship to the traditional high school Westwood high school in Trelawney Jamaica. At school she developed a love for music and was a part of a girl group with 2 other young ladies at school. Their performance was played on air by Bagga Brown of Irie FM marking their debut. Imejah went on to study Music and Art at shortwood teachers college in Kingston and was under the tutelage of Professor Lloyd Hall. After college she performed with various bands including Gladiators. In 2016 she went solo with her first single Rio Blue produced by iconic musician Merrick Dyer. Her pusuits of music led her to other singles compled in an EP. I dare you, who are you and Falling Lullaby are a few of her songs. Her song Jah Alone was featured in a local film entitled Iyan Balloon where she is featured as the character British. A teacher, writer, actor, performer and singer. She is a well rounded individual with a great offering of music from her writings.
